Emma is a Pilates instructor and NASM-certified Personal Trainer who has been training women since 2017. She specializes in pre- and postnatal fitness, with advanced expertise in pelvic floor function and diastasis recti. Using a blend of Pilates-based movement and progressive strength training, Emma helps women build strength, restore function, and feel confident in their bodies at every stage.
Emma takes a practical, whole-person approach to training, considering the physical, mental, and emotional needs of each client. She is passionate about educating women on strength training and healthy movement, and focuses on helping her clients feel strong, confident, and capable in their bodies. She also integrates mindfulness and stress-management strategies when appropriate.
Outside of training, Emma spends most of her time with her two young daughters on the UWS. She enjoys running and is currently training to become a Doula.
Dr. Dana Whitten, PT, DPT, CSCS is a Physical Therapist specializing in sports medicine and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University. In addition to her Doctorate, Dana is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA). Growing up playing sports sparked her passion for movement, functional wellness, and helping others stay active. Dana is dedicated to improving her patients’ quality of life through individualized care that combines evidence-based treatment with a functional, whole-body approach.
